The Student Senate of FVM Unud presented Organizational Management Training 2023.
The Organizational Management Training or commonly abbreviated as OMT is a training activity that is organized by the three Student Senate organizations of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University. This activity is held annually with the aim of forming student cadres of the FKH Udayana Student Senate who are capable of performing organizational management functions, such as planning, organizing, directing, and controlling in carrying out their duties and authorities as FKH Udayana Student Senate functionaries. In addition, it is hoped that a sense of togetherness among the senates in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University will be formed and increased.
On Sunday, March 5th, 2023, the first virtual meeting was held via Cisco Webex. Participants were given guidance and information on what to do and prepare for the peak day of OMT 2023, such as reading the OMT 2023 participant's SOP, reading the participant's assignment, and dividing the OMT 2023 group.
Exactly one week after the first meeting, on Sunday, March 12th, 2023, the peak day of the Organizational Management Training (OMT) was held. The activity went smoothly and attracted many participants to interact directly, so it did not appear boring or tedious. OMT 2023 was held offline, coinciding with the FKH Udayana Senate Meeting Room. In this activity, the dean's office and senate leaders were not forgotten, namely the presence of the Vice Dean III of FKH Udayana, the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of BEM, the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of DPM, as well as the General Leader and Chief Editor of LPM SS. The event began with a speech by the chairperson and the guests, and was opened by Vice Dean III of FKH Udayana.
The most important thing about the OMT 2023 event is the presentation of material and talk show activities moderated by Alvian Cahya Ramadhan. The first material presentation was delivered by an active female student in the FKH Udayana senate, especially in the BEM senate, Purnasari Puji Rahayu, who currently serves as the treasurer I, and the material discussed was about "Financial Administration." The discussion session about the material presented attracted a lot of enthusiasm from the participants with interesting questions, so that it could provide a further insight and easy to understand by all participants. After the material presentation was finished, the activity continued with a talk show where the speaker on this talk show was one of the young lecturers from FKH Udayana, drh. Romy Muhammad Dary Mufa, S.KH., M.Si. He is a graduate of FKH Unair and has served as the Chairperson of BEM FKH Unair. In this opportunity, it is hoped that he can provide input and guidance so that each participant can manage themselves in organizing. Based on his experience as a student, it is hoped that it can be applied and implemented for the new generation and can motivate the participants to emulate good things in organizing.
The most anticipated activity by all participants was the debate activity. This debate discussed issues that often occur during organizing and experienced by the FKH Udayana Faculty of Veterinary Medicine student senate. This debate activity was very interesting because of the enthusiasm shown and the arguments of each participant were weighty. Participants were given the opportunity to express their opinions or arguments with different motions in each session in the form of pros and cons.
At the end of the event, a questionnaire related to the OMT 2023 activity was filled out, which was created by DPM as a form of evaluation and assessment of the activity that had been carried out
