Student Profession Interest (SPI) of Wildlife, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University Celebrates The 11th Anniversary.
On May 15, 2022, the 11th Anniversary of the Student Profession Interest (SPI) of Wildlife Rothschildi FVM Unud was held. This activity is an annual mandatory activity organized by SPI Rothschildi. This activity is also the opening of the Anniversary Celebration which will be held by other professional interests in Geger Beach, Nusa Dua, Badung. This anniversary celebration was attended by students and alumni who aremembers of the SPI Wildlife Rothschildi FVM Unud. The 11th Anniversary of Student Profession Interest Wildlife Rothschildi FVM Unud this time carried the theme Be Wild and FreeAs the Sea with cutting a birthday cake and also three inter-cluster game competitions.
Student Profession Interest Wildlife Rothschildi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University is one of the SPI that focuses on wildlife. SPI Wildlife Rothschildi was originally called Wildlife and Aquatic Groups/ Kelompok Satwa Liar dan Aquatik (KSLA) when it was first founded in 2006 by drh. Pranoto Adi Swasono, drh. Joko prayoko, and drh. Andita Septiandini who runs independently. Then in 2010, Kelompok Satwa Liar dan Aquatik (KSLA) changed its name to Himpunan Minat Profesi Satwa liar Rothschildi (Himpro Satli Rothschildi)and finally changed to Minat Profesi Satwa Liar/ Student Profession Interest Wildlife Rothschildi on 1st May 2011, started running semi- independently under the auspices of SEB FVM and also set 1st May as Minpro Satli Rothschildi's birthday. Minpro Satli Rothschildi is currently being coached by Dr. drh. I Wayan Batan, MS., drh. Sri Kayati Widyastuti, M.Sc., and Dr. drh. I Gede Soma, M.Kes. with the vision of “Becoming an Insightful Professional Interest in the Field of Medicine, Education and Conservation to Prepare Professional Wildlife Veterinarians”
The activity began with an opening, prayer, and welcome remarks from the Chairman of the Committee and Chairman of SPI Rothschildi as well as opening the event. The first game was a sack race which was won by the carnivores cluster, then followed by a tug of war game which was won by the carnivores cluster again. Next is the sand game by forming an animal in the form of a hammerhead shark which is won by the primate cluster. Then it was continued by cutting the birthday cake, playing the video of Student Profession Interest Wildlife Rothschildi, having a dinner together, and closing with the distribution of prizes for the winners and then prayers. Each competition was carried out with great joy and also the cohesiveness of each cluster. Hopefully this activity will become a reference for other SPI FVM Unud in carryingout their respective minpro birthday celebrations so as to build kinship and cohesiveness.
A lot of messages, impressions, and prayers were given, from the administrators, lecturers, members of Chelonia, and alumni. “Happy birthday SPI Rothschildi, I hope the Rothschildi will continue to advance because it is one of the proud SPI of FVM Unud”, from drh. Sri Kayati Widyastuti as the supervisor lecturer. "Happy birthday to SPI Rothschildi, I hope that your dream of forming a wildlife veterinarian will come true," said drh. Andita Septiandini who is an alumni. "Happy 11th birthday of SPI Rothschildi FVM Unud, may you be more victorious, always solid, and provide education, especially in the field of wildlife", from KOFAKA USK.
