Preparing to Move to the Bukit Campus, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University Held a Coordination Meeting

The Lecture and Practicum Coordination Meeting at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD) was held on Thursday, 9 February 2023 which took place in the Meeting Room of the UNUD FVM Building. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UNUD, Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UNUD, Study Program Coordinators for Undergraduate Veterinary Medicine, Masters in Veterinary Medicine, and Veterinary Professional Education, Unit Coordinators, and Course Managers at FVM UNUD. This meeting discussed the mechanism for implementing lectures on the Bukit Campus.

The meeting was opened by the Dean of FVM Unud Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Sc. Prof. Suartha explained that this transfer was the vision of the Chancellor of Udayana University in the context of centralizing undergraduate education at Bukit Jimbaran. Lecture activities centered on Bukit aim to facilitate lectures and coordination between the faculty and the rectorate. The activity was then followed by a presentation by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. drh. I Nengah Wandia, M.Si regarding technical lectures and practicum on the Bukit. In his presentation Dr. Wandia delivered material regarding the location of the lecture building, academic guidelines, recognition of student achievement, UP and thesis guidelines, class schedule and practicum. "It is very important to pay attention to the division of lecture locations, because lectures are held in a lecture building which is a Joint Lecture Building," said Dr. Wandia. With lectures centered in the lecture building, the distribution of lecture schedules must be arranged in such a way as not to conflict with other faculties' class schedules.

In this activity it was also conveyed regarding the revision of academic guidelines, especially in the veterinary undergraduate program, especially in the recognition of student achievement. This recognition activity is a tribute to the outstanding students at FVM Unud. Furthermore, changes to the guidelines for Research Proposals and Thesis were also conveyed. In the latest guidelines, students may not conduct a thesis trial if they are able to publish the results of their research in an accredited journal, Sinta 2 or higher.

By holding a preparatory meeting to move to Bukit FVM UNUD, it is hoped that lecture activities can run smoothly both from the lecture schedule and its implementation.
