Prepare for Eid al-Adha, FKH Unud Collaborates with the Denpasar Municipal Agriculture Office
Eid al-Adha which celebrate on Sunday (10/07) moves the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Udayana University (FVM Unud) to participate in the Ante Mortem Post Mortem (AMPM)Qurban held on Saturday (09/07).
In order to provide an understanding regarding the AMPM examination, last Saturday (02/07), FVM Unud held a briefing activity in the FVM Unud Meeting Room, Sudirman Campus which was attended by the Denpasar Municipal Agriculture Service, Deputy Dean 3 of the Unud FVM, and all Veterinary Public Health Lecturers ( VPH) FVM Unud.
"We have recorded the places or the number of mosques that carry out the slaughter. However, we lack people tohandle or supervise the slaughter. So, thank you to the FVM brothers who are willing to help," said Drh. Ida Ayu Made Sri Martini as a representative of the Denpasar Municipality Agriculture Service when giving a speech. The activity was continued with an official opening by the Vice Dean of FVM Unud, namely Dr. Dr. I Wayan Sudira M.Si. "Faculties are very welcome with collaboration with the department. Later, students will also be provided with knowledge by VPH lecturers," said Dr. Dr. I Wayan Sudira M.Si gave his speech. This activity took place in the FVM Unud Meeting Room, Sudirman Campus.
This activity, which aims to assist Muslims in checking the health quality of meat in the midst of the outbreak of FMD, also presents Dr. Dr. Ida Bagus Swacita, M.Si as Lecturer of VPH FVM Unud and Drh. Ida Ayu Made Sri Martini as representatives of the Denpasar Municipal Agriculture Office to provide material supplies needed for the D-day activities.
"The debriefing activities are advanced from the initial date, but the knowledge we get is very worth it and will be useful, both for D-day activities and in the future," said Ramadhan as a participant who took the offline briefing. However, the lack of participation that can be present in the middle of this semester break has made the faculty take the initiative to make online briefings to strengthen knowledge that will be useful during the D-day of the activity. "Because there are only a few people who take part in the debriefing, we want to plan an online briefing and the distribution of groups according to the slaughtering area," said I Dewa Putu Bagus Mertha Anom as a participant who also attended offline.
After confirming to the VPH FVM Unud Lecturer. It is true, there will be an online briefing on Tuesday (05/07). Dr. I Made Sukada M.Si One of the VPH Lecturers also hopes that students will take advantage of this online debriefing activity to ask questions that they don't understand. "Hopefully this activity can be a learning vehicle for students to recognize diseases in sacrificial animals, especially zoonoses. Hopefully, the collaboration with the agriculture office can also be sustainable and provide benefits to the community," concluded Dr. Dr. I Wayan Sudira M.Si when asked about his hopes for this activity in the future.
