Preparation of 2023 Fund Execution, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University holds a Planning and Development Conference
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD) held a Planning and Development Deliberation (PDB) on Friday, March 25, 2022. Located in the courtroom on the 1st floor of the FVM UNUD Building. This activity was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Program Coordinator of Veterinary Medicine Bachelor, Veterinary Profession, Veterinary Medicine Masters, Unit Coordinators, Head of Administration and Coordinator of Administration Sub-Section, as well as lecturers in the FVM UNUD environment. This PDB activity discussed the coordination and direction from the leadership regarding the future planning and development of FVM UNUD. The activity started with remarks from the Dean of FVM UNUD, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Suartha, M.Si. convey information related to the current achievements of FVM UNUD which have not been matched by feedback in the form of data collection and documentation for the benefit of the quality of the institution in the future. There is a need for coordination between the academic community, both lecturers, education staff and students regarding the performance and achievements obtained. In this case, Information Management and Cooperation Unit (IMCU) can assist in dealing with administrative, data, and business unit constraints of FVM UNUD.
The need to improve the quality of the academic community for the sake of increasing the quality of FVM UNUD, said Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si. as Vice Dean for Academic Affair and Planning. For lecturers, making modules must have (International Standart Book Number (ISBN) is so that they can be recognized as performance, teaching lecturers of professional education are required to have Veterinary Registration Certificate (VRC) as a form of professional legality, research activities must be in accordance with the roadmap, community service activities must be right on target, in this case FVM UNUD in collaboration with Animal Hospital FVM UNUD. It is hoped that this service will continue to the target villages so that the expected results can be obtained. As for students, during the competition, they can apply for funds to the institution so that students will be more competitive and in the future all awards obtained must be reported to the institution.
Furthermore, under the command of Vice Dean 2 for administration and finance, Dr. drh. Luh Gde Sri Surya Heryani, M. Biomed., In order to support the institutional development plan, FVM UNUD targets the construction of the new Dean Building to be completed in 2023, followed by the new Animal Hospital FVM UNUD building in 2024. The current plan of the FVM UNUD Hospital is still in the process of completion and is targeted for completion this year. Likewise with the work program and quality strengthening of the FVM UNUD which is currently being worked on.
In the field of cooperation, FVM UNUD has formed a domestic and foreign cooperation team as a form of institutional internationalization. Until now, FVM UNUD already has 9 Cooperation Agreements (CA) as a clinical vehicle and several collaborations with overseas agencies. With progressive collaboration between agencies, it is hoped that it will broaden their horizons for the future development of FVM UNUD, said Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Si as Vice of Student affair and Cooperation.
With the holding of this PDB, FKH UNUD is considered ready to proceed to become even better, of course, it cannot be separated from the support and cooperation of the FVM UNUD Academic Community and institutional partners.
