Plenary Session 2025: A New Milestone for Leadership and Regulation in SM-FKH Udayana University
The General Election Commission (PEMIRA) of the Student Senate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (SM-FKH) at Udayana University (Unud) successfully held the 2025 Plenary Session on Saturday, December 7, 2024. The event, which is the highest decision-making forum in the Student Institution of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Unud, was conducted both offline in the Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor of the Dean's Building FKH Unud, Jimbaran Campus, and online via Cisco Webex Meetings.
The session participants included the Chairpersons of SM-FKH Udayana University for the 2024 and 2025 periods, namely from the Student Representative Council (DPM) FKH Unud, the Executive Board of Students (BEM) FKH Unud, and the Student Press Institution (LPM) Suara Satwa FKH Unud, along with chairs of Semi-Autonomous Bodies (BSO), level coordinators, and representatives of the Student Representative Council of Student Government (DPM-PM) Udayana University.
The session began with a presession agenda led by the Temporary First and Second Presidiums, Khansa Zharifah and Dabira Rafa Azizah. This agenda included discussing and establishing the rules of procedure and ratifying the Permanent Presidium, consisting of Made Fortuna Frizkky Ananta Sutrisna as presidium 1, Anak Agung Ayu Intan Reisthavi as presidium 2, and Ni Nyoman Anggariani Astiti as presidium 3.
Entering the main agenda, the session started with accountability reports (Lpj) from the SM-FKH Udayana University Chairperson for 2024. The report was delivered by Kadek Santiari as the General Chair of DPM FKH Unud, followed by Alvian Cahya Ramadhan as the Chair of BEM FKH Unud, and concluded by Wanda Audina Putri as the Editor-in-Chief of LPM Suara Satwa FKH Unud. However, these three accountability reports could not be ratified because several work programs from each senate were not yet complete. The DPM FKH Unud still needs to wait for PEMIRA 2025, which is still in the implementation stage, while BEM FKH Unud will still hold a General Lecture from the Professional Interest Suluh. Meanwhile, LPM Suara Satwa FKH Unud still needs to complete the publication of Suara Satwa Magazine vol. 43 no. 77 Odd Semester Edition.
The session decided that the accountability reports from DPM FKH Unud and BEM FKH Unud would be conditionally accepted until January 3, 2025, while the accountability report from LPM Suara Satwa FKH Unud was given a deadline until January 31, 2025. Submission must be made before 3:00 PM Wita at the Dean's Building FKH Unud, Jimbaran Campus. Subsequently, in case of delay, the party concerned will be subject to sanctions agreed upon, which include fully funding the 2025 Organizational Management Training (DMO). Then, the chairpersons of SM-FKH Udayana University for 2025 were ratified. The following are the chairs for each organization for the 2025 period:
* Putu Surya Pratama Putra and Ni Made Maika Istri Arya Arsana as Chair and Vice Chair of BEM FKH Unud.
* Amira Inas Wibowo and Shakila Rifani Putri Lubis as General Chair and Deputy General Chair of DPM FKH Unud.
* Mia Kosasih and Ni Made Putri Amelia Kusumaningrum as General Editor and Editor-in-Chief of LPM Suara Satwa FKH Unud.
The agenda continued with discussions on the Bylaws and Internal Regulations (AD/ART) of SM-FKH Udayana University 2025. In this agenda, several changes were made regarding identity and provisions after considering discussions from the forum present. Subsequently, the discussion moved to the Guidelines for Work Program Outline (GBHPK) of SM-FKH Udayana University 2025. This agenda did not involve many changes in its bylaws, which implies that the GBHPK has been functioning as intended.
The session then continued with discussions on the General Guidelines for Internal Work Procedures (PUTKI) of SM-FKH Udayana University 2025, where participants agreed on several revisions to improve efficiency and inter-institutional synergy, including the addition of points regarding the Semi-Autonomous Bodies (BSO) of FKH Unud and the Editor-in-Chief of LPM Suara Satwa FKH Unud. The mandate of the 2025 Plenary Session was also formulated with several additional recommendations, including guidance for all members to carry out work programs that are accountable and oriented towards ongoing issues in the FKH Unud environment.
With the conclusion of the 2025 Plenary Session, it is hoped that student organizations within the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Udayana University can continue to move forward, bringing innovations and collaborations that are beneficial to the campus and society.
