Move Fast, Quality Team of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Held a Coordination Meeting
The quality team coordination meeting of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD) was held on Monday, 28 March 2022, which took place in the Meeting Room of the FVM UNUD Building. The meeting was attended by the Dean of FVM UNUD, Vice Deans of FKH UNUD, Program Coordinator of Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine Study Program, Program Coordinator of Master of Veterinary Medicine, Program Coordinator of Veterinary Profession, Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (FQAU), Information Management Unit and Cooperation (IMUC), and the Quality Team FVM UNUD. This meeting discussed the efforts that will be made to prepare various quality documents of interest to the quality of FVM UNUD.
The meeting was opened by Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma as Vive Dean for Academic and Planning. Dr. Sudisma explained that the vision and mission must be in accordance with applicable procedures, the preparation of the Master Development Plan (MDP) must be in accordance with the achievements of graduates. The Education Curriculum must be balanced with clear modules. In the future, the draft results will be monitored and evaluated by FQAU while preparing new educational guidelines at the FVM UNUD. In the end, after having various kinds of quality documents complete, then the FVM UNUD database was created, so that searching for data was easy when quality accreditation activities were carried out.
"Successful lecturers can be measured by the quality of graduates, so they must be supported by a curriculum that is integrated with Learning Outcomes (LO) and Subject Learning Outcomes (SLO), as well as Key Performance Indicators (KPI) must also be improved." said the Dean of FKH UNUD. The chairman of FQAU stated that the activities had been prepared and determined by the chief executive of each activity. FQAU's activity is to monitor and evaluate quality documents that were previously made and prepared by the FVM UNUD quality team. The tasks of the Quality Team include preparing KPI, revitalizing Semester Learning Plans (SLP), Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, Improvement (PIECI), research roadmaps, standard preparation workshops, guidelines and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) for student final exams, strengthening academic and laboratory governance, fostered villages and teaching farms, development of clinical facilities, benchmarking and internationalization pilots, public lectures and expert lectures, preparation of academic guidelines, development plans for the Animal Hospital of FVM UNUD, and visiting professors. All forms of coordination in the future will be carried out intensively for each person in charge of each activity.
With the holding of the Quality Team meeting, it is hoped that all targets and activity plans related to the quality of the FVM UNUD can run smoothly for the sake of the quality of the institution and its graduates in the future.
