Growing Interest in PKM, the FVM Unud Student Executive Board is holding PKM Socialization 2024.

Every problem has a solution, therefore students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) at Udayana University are here through the Student Creativity Program (PKM) to help solve problems in the community.

The Student Executive Board (BEM) FVM Unud, PKM sub-sector again held a Student Creativity Program Socialization on Saturday, March 30, 2024, online via the Cisco Webex Meeting platform which was attended by 216 FVM Unud students as participants. This socialization activity was also attended by Deputy Dean III FVM Unud, Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Sc., Chair and Deputy Chair of BEM FVM Unud, supervisor of the 36th Veterinary Work Lecture (KKV), and PKM FVM Unud review team. This event is a continuation program of the 36th KKV activity which was held last January.

The event began with remarks which were then continued with a presentation of the material. This year, PKM Socialization has the theme "Let's Become Creative Innovation Agents Through Student Creativity Programs!" by presenting the secretary from the Udayana Student Creative Center (USCC) as well as a lecturer in physics courses from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Unud, I Putu Tedy Indrayana, S.Pd., M.Sc., as a speaker. He explained the types of PKM, proposal making schemes, and writing systematics, as well as tips and tricks for making creative and quality proposals. According to him, in making quality PKM, students must be able to adhere to three mottos, namely creative, innovative, and solution.

The event continued with responses from the PKM reviewer team by the FVM Unud lecturers, namely Dr. drh. Ni Luh Eka Setiasih, S.K.H., M.Si., ??drh. I Wayan Wirata, S.K.H., M.Sc., drh. I Wayan Sukernayasa, S.K.H., M.Si., ??drh. Luh Made Sudimartini, M.Sc., and drh. I Made Merdana, M.P. They both agreed that this socialization presentation was very suitable for the needs of making proposals for FVM Unud students this year. The event then continued with a discussion session which was enthusiastically welcomed by the participants. Questions asked by participants were answered directly by the speaker. After that, the event ended with a documentation session.

According to the Head of the PKM sub-sector and Chair of the PKM FVM Unud Socialization Committee, Weni Fahdatul Ilhami, this activity aims to provide participants with understanding and knowledge in making PKM. "The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine's PKM socialization activities aim to provide sufficient understanding and knowledge regarding the preparation of good and correct PKM proposals, as well as providing practical guidance in implementing PKM so that students can think creatively and innovatively, as well as being objective in building intellectual diversity," he said.
