Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Helds a Try Out Veterinary Professional Program Student Competency Exam
A total of 47 participants took part in the try out for the Veterinary Competency Examination (VCE) for the Veterinary Professional Education Program (VPEP) organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD) together with the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, based on a Computer Based Test in Denpasar, Saturday (24/09). /2022).
The try out was held online at the FVM UNUD Computer Laboratory using the Computer Based Test (CBT) system. The Health Protocol is implemented very strictly in the implementation of this try out. Present on this occasion the VCE central committee, Prof. Dr. dr. Ni Ketut Suwiti, M.Kes., Coordinator of the Local Committee Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Dwinata, M.Kes. from FVM UNUD.
The VCE try out is a preparation activity for the VCE exam on October 29, 2022 later. The VCE exam must be taken by students of the Veterinary Professional Educational Program (CPEP) before being able to pass as a Veterinarian. Prof. Dr. dr. Suwiti, M.Si. hope that the VCE try out is followed in earnest so that all test takers will be able to pass the real exam with satisfactory scores. Veterinary Competency Examination try out is divided into two sessions, the first session starts at 10:00 to 11:40, and the second session starts at 14:00 to 15:40. The VCE try out was divided into two sessions due to limited space and to maintain distance.
The VCE try out went smoothly. This was realized because of the support from the leadership of FVM UNUD, good cooperation from the local and central committees, as well as cooperation from the try out participants. All SOPs that have been set by the national committee have been fulfilled.
Students must pass the VCE exam before graduating or better known as the Exit Exam with the organizer being the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. According to the examinees, “it was deemed necessary to try out before they took the VCE exam. Some participants also hoped to get a grid of questions to study before taking the real exam.
