Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Held Inauguration and Oathing of Veterinarians and Judiciary of Veterinary Medicine Graduates for the Period of June 2022

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), Udayana University held the Inauguration and Oath of Veterinarians as well as the Judiciary of Veterinary Medicine Graduates of Year 2022, Monday (20/06/2022). The event was held offline in the Nusantara room, Agrocomplex Building, Udayana Sudirman University Campus. by implementing strict COVID-19 prevention protocols. The inauguration and judicial activities were attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Heads, Laboratory Heads, Sub-Coordinators in the Unud FKH Environment. Unud Veterinary Alumni Association, Head of Bali Agricultural Quarantine, Head of Denpasar Veterinary Center, Head of Animal Health Division of the Bali Provincial Agriculture Office, Head of Animal Health Division of the District Agriculture Office. Badung, Head of Animal Health Department of Agriculture Denpasar City, Representative from PT. Charoen Pockpand, PT, Wonokoyo. The number of graduates who attended was: 46 graduates consisting of 7 new Veterinarians and 39 graduates of Veterinary Medicine Degree.

 


The event began with an opening by the Dean of VM Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suartha M.Si, which was followed by the reading of a prayer represented by Ni Putu Eka Nadi, which was then continued with the report of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning FVM Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si.. Dr. Sudisma conveyed that the number of judicial participants consisted of 39 people from the undergraduate program, 7 people from the professional program. Until now, the number of graduates from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana is 2,626 people. The highest GPA for the veterinary profession program is 3.78 and the lowest is 3.32 with an average of 3.60. Based on the length of study of the veterinary profession, graduating on time (4 semesters) is 71% and 4.5 semesters is 29%. The highest GPA for the undergraduate veterinary program is 3.98, the lowest GPA is 3.00, and the average GPA is 3.74. Based on the length of study for the veterinary undergraduate program, 8 semesters are 84%, 10 semesters are 8% and 12 semesters are 5%.

 


Then it was continued with the Inauguration of the Veterinarians who were guided by the Dean of FVM and the swearing in witnessed by the clergy. After the inauguration and oath of veterinarians, a transcript of grades was handed over to the graduates. The event then continued with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Unud. The Dean of FVM congratulated the judiciary participants for having been able to complete their education well. Prof. Suartha also conveyed a message to the judicial participants and their families, namely "veterinarians to carry out their profession by adhering to the oath and code of ethics for veterinarians., For undergraduate students of veterinary medicine who are graduated to continue to the veterinary profession program".

 


The event continued with remarks and impressions of messages from representatives of the parents of the judicial participants represented by I Nengah Sika. Representatives of the graduates' parents expressed their gratitude to Udayana University, especially FVM Unud, for guiding and educating our children patiently so that they can achieve graduation well. Veterinary graduates are expected to be able to apply their knowledge to the community diligently and with full commitment.

 


The event was continued with speeches and messages from representatives of the judiciary participants (drh. Maria Clafita Witoko, S.KH.). drh. Maria Clafita Witiko, S.KH expressed her gratitude for the knowledge and experience that had been given as well as the facilities in achieving all of this to the academic community of FVM Unud. The graduation ceremony for veterinarians and the inauguration of veterinarians went smoothly. The event ended with a group photo (O).
