Coordinator Station Veterinary Reproduction FVM UDAYANA Coordinates With The Head of UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province

After approximately 6 months PPDH reproductive and veterinary obstetric activities were not carried out at UPTD BIBD PTHPT (Artificial Insemination Center for Livestock Breeding and Forage Animal Feed) Province of Bali which is in Baturiti due to an outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease which attacked Bali and other areas in Indonesia . The PPDH (Veterinary Profession Program) Reproduction and Veterinary Midwifery activities carried out at UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province are cement processing, both pig semen and cow semen which lasts for 1 week. Semen processing activities begin with the process of taking or collecting semen from males, then observing the quality of the semen, dilution, to packing and storing the semen. In addition, they also learn about the management of stud maintenance whose cement will be used for cement processing.

Due to the importance of cement processing activities at UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province in providing students with skills in the field of cement processing, the coordinator of the PPDH Reproduction and Veterinary obstetrics block, Dr. drh. Urged Nyoman Dewi Indira Laksmi., M.Biomed, accompanied by the Head of the teaching farm of FVM Udayana Dr.drh. I gusti Ngurah Bagus Trilaksana, M.Kes and reproductive and Midwifery teaching staff drh. I wayan Sukernayasa., M.Sc., coordinated with the head of UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali province drh. Jose O.A Sarmento on Thursday 30 March 2023 at 10:00 WITA at the UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Baturiti province office. In addition, the head of UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province was also accompanied by drh. Ngakan Putu Oka Susanta, M.Sc as a staff at UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province.

On this occasion the head of UPTD BIBD PTHPT drh. Jose O.A Sarmento allowed again to place PPDH reproductive and veterinary midwifery students to return to carrying out learning activities for semen processing of pigs and Balinese cattle at UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province after the PMK outbreak which had attacked Bali some time ago. "We are happy if students and lecturers can use the UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province in Baturiti as a learning and research facility to improve science and technology, especially in the field of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry," he added.

With the re-allowance of reproductive PPDH and veterinary midwifery activities at UPTD BIBD PTHPT Bali Province, the activities will be carried out starting in April 2023. Dr.drh.
