Building Collaboration with Melbourne University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Holds General Lecture "Equine Health and Zoonoses"

In order to build collaboration between Udayana University and Melbourne University, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD held a public lecture on Tuesday, February 20 2024, which took place in the 1st Floor Meeting Room, FVM UNUD, Sudirman Campus.

This general lecture invited speakers from the Faculty of Sciences, Melbourne University, namely Charles El-Hage, BVSc.(HONS), MACVSc., Ph.D, who was guided by Dr. drh. Kadek Karang Agustina, M.P. as moderator. The topic of the general lecture presented was "Equine Health and Zoonoses". The general lecture was attended by around fifty participants consisting of lecturers and students of the Veterinary Professional Education FVM UNUD study program from various semesters. The participants seemed enthusiastic about the presentation delivered by the resource person. Several participants asked various questions about how to maintain horse health and the importance of knowing and understanding diseases that have the potential to be zoonotic from horses to humans.



Mr. Charles was happy to be able to make his first visit to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University as well as give a general lecture and have direct discussions with lecturers and students. The event ended with a group photo agenda.
