PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (PT CPI) through the Karya Pokphand Institute (KPI) provides educational scholarship assistance to students who have high achievements and prioritizes students who are economically disadvantaged. Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia collaborates with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine to provide scholarships to students through the Charoen Pokphand Foundation Indonesia (CPFI) university scholarship program. This scholarship is given to students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine whose universities have collaborated with PT CPI. Currently, there are 21 universities that have collaborated, with a running quota of 380 students each year. One such university is Udayana University in Bali. Udayana University annually gets a quota of 20 students consisting of 10 students from the Faculty of Animal Science and 10 students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. This year at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, there were 5 students from the 2018 batch, 3 students from the 2019 batch and 2 students from the 2020 batch as awardees of this scholarship.

This scholarship is given until the student graduates, which will then be continued to the next awardee student. This scholarship is not an official bond, however, if they are interested in working at PT CPI when graduate, it will be prioritized. Some of the requirements for applying for this scholarship are in the form of achievement requirements, both academic and non-academic achievements, a 3.00 GPA, participation in university organizations and etc. Students receiving this scholarship are required to improve their achievements and be active in intra-campus organizational activities, which of course has a good impact on students. Scholarship recipients also feel the benefits of this scholarship which can be used as a Single Tuition Fund (UKT), practicum needs, transportation, and even living expenses by students who aboard for education. With this scholarship, it is hoped that there will be a lot of young people who are outstanding, independent and superior.

The recipient of this scholarship also hopes that the scholarships given to students can continue to be used for the needs of the students themselves. One of the recipients of this scholarship, Wayan Gede Ananta Brahmananda from the class of 2019 said that "This scholarship is very useful for me as a support for large tuition fees, in addition to fulfilling the lecture activities from this scholarship I also learn to be responsible for financial expenses, and I hope that the scholarship This can continue to be given to students who really need to support their studies, especially in FVM itself”. Another student opinion, Purnasari Puji Rahayu from the class of 2020 said that "This scholarship really helps students to meet their college needs or pay for UKT. The registration process is not so long-winded and the information is very fast. The hope is that this charoen scholarship can expand its reach so that it can help more students in need.” Not forgetting that the 2018 FVM student on behalf of Ni Made Adinda Arya Ningrum said "As an awardee of the Pokphand Karya Institute scholarship since semester III (in 2019), I thank you very much and feel very helped by this scholarship, especially in terms of tuition fees. For the future, I hope that this Pokphand Karya Institute scholarship can be given continuously for FVM students at Udayana University and can be continued until the Professional Program because so far, the scholarships are only covered until they graduate Bachelor degree”.
