Vocal Group Brings First FVM Medal at Udayana University's 61st Anniversary Porseni

In order to celebrate the 61st Anniversary of Udayana University (Unud), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) took part in Porseni activities organized Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Pemerintahan Mahasiswa (BEM-PM) as a vocal group participant. Through the song Sang Juara OST Dies Natalis Universitas Udayana and Berlari Tanpa Kaki, FVM succeeded in bringing home a bronze medal. Beautiful voices from Sabrina Indah Valensia, James Rivaldo Dapa Ole, Gabriella Putri Salia, Febri Savina, Michelle Valentina, Anak Agung Ayu Intan Reisthavi accompanied with music from cajon by Gusti Ayu Komang Tri Indah Purnama Dewi, guitar by Novantoadi Fardian, and keyboard by Dian Kristi was able to captivate the three jury members on Thursday night (07/09). "I felt like I was watching a very complex performance, every lyric was sung with appropriate expressions and movements," said one of the vocal group competition judges.

Managers, officials, and coaches from Vetro Voice also took part in guiding the FVM contingent until competition day arrived. "What is certain is that I’m very happy, I didn't expect it, and of course I am proud and very grateful that FVM won the championship. The tiring training was not in vain and succeeded in making FVM proud," said Adi Putra Novanolo Waruwu as the manager of FVM Unud vocal group.

FVM Unud’s supporters, Veterinary Warrior, were also present to enliven the vocal group through live streaming on the 61st Porseni Dies Natalis Unud YouTube channel. Although it's only through commenting, FVM students still provide encouragement and appreciation as fellow FVM Udayana community members.

The success of winning 3rd place from this vocal group certainly won’t stop the FVM contingent from winning medals in other competitions. An enthusiastic and sportsmanlike spirit will continue to be applied in the 61st anniversary of Unud in order to make the FVM proud.
