Udayana University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Strengthens Cross-Sector Coordination: Focus on KPIs, Infrastructure, and Governance by 2026

JIMBARAN, February 20, 2026 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, held a series of cross-sector coordination meetings as part of its efforts to strengthen governance, improve service quality, and support academic activities.

Following up on the online meeting held on February 19, 2026, regarding Student Interests and Talents, the Student Affairs Division emphasized that all programs and activities must align with the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) outlined in the Dean’s Performance Agreement. Each activity is expected to be not only participatory, but also measurable, impactful, and contribute significantly to the achievement of the IKU. Through the JMT, the Student Affairs Division is committed to providing good, professional, and high-quality services to support the development of student potential and achievement in a sustainable manner.

On the same day, the General Affairs and Finance Subdivision held a meeting to discuss the condition of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine building at the Sudirman Campus, which has suffered significant damage due to roof leaks, causing ceiling collapses in several rooms. This condition has affected the smooth implementation of teaching and learning activities for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Study Program (DVMSP), as well as seminars and examinations, and poses potential safety risks to the academic community. Several rooms, including the Veterinary Physiology lecturers’ office on the 4th floor, were reported to have issues such as leaking ceilings, broken lights, and damaged door locks.

In addition to infrastructure matters, the faculty also received a visit from the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus in the context of a Public Accounting Firm (KAP) audit for the physical inspection of alumni grant items from 2025. In relation to this, the faculty prepared and completed the necessary documents and materials. On the administrative side, several lecturers and educational staff still require assistance in completing the 2025 Cortex reporting period, which will end on March 31, 2026. Meanwhile, Annual Tax Return (SPT) documents and withholding tax slips have been distributed through the WhatsApp group.

The series of coordination meetings concluded with the JMT activity of the Planning Subdivision, which discussed the revision of the 2026 Budget Implementation Document (POK) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The planning team is currently finalizing the revision process, with a submission deadline of February 23, 2026. In addition, the 2025 Government Agency Performance Report (LAKIN) has been completed and is currently awaiting review. The discussion also covered the Dean’s Performance Agreement, which will be followed up by drafting performance agreements between the Study Program Coordinators and the Dean.

Through these meetings and coordination efforts, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Universitas Udayana reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining service quality, strengthening governance systems, and ensuring the sustainability of academic and administrative excellence.
