Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Holds Microscope Technology Demonstration to Support Laboratory Learning

Denpasar, July 9, 2026 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), Udayana University, welcomed PT New Module International for a microscope product demonstration held at the Meeting Room on the first floor of the FVM Building, Denpasar Campus. The event aimed to introduce the latest developments in microscope technology that can support teaching, laboratory practical sessions, and academic research activities.

During the demonstration, lecturers, laboratory staff, and students had the opportunity to observe and directly experience the operation of the microscopes presented. Students were also invited to operate the instruments and examine specimen slides, allowing them to become familiar with the features and capabilities of each microscope.

The presentation covered microscope technologies designed for both educational purposes and basic research. Several key features introduced included LED illumination systems, ergonomic designs, adjustable light intensity, and the potential integration of digital imaging systems to support laboratory documentation and enhance the learning process.

In addition to the live product demonstration, representatives from PT New Module International provided guidance on the proper operation of the microscopes, explained the functions of their various features, and discussed opportunities to integrate digital cameras and imaging systems into laboratory learning. The session concluded with an interactive discussion and question-and-answer segment, enabling participants to gain further insights into the application of the equipment for teaching and research.

Through activities such as this, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, hopes to keep its academic community informed about technological developments relevant to laboratory education. Product demonstrations also provide valuable opportunities to broaden participants' understanding of laboratory technologies that may support future improvements in teaching, practical training, research, and the continued development of laboratory facilities.
