The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University will hold a Judicial and Inauguration of Veterinarians in October 2023

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud) held the Judicial and Inauguration of Veterinarians in 2022, Rebo (11/10/2023). The event was held offline in the Agrocomplex Building, UNUD Campus, Jl. PB. Sudirman Denpasar. The Judicial and Inauguration activities were attended by the Dean, Deputy Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Heads, Laboratory Heads, Sub-coordinators in the FVM Unud environment, apart from that, representatives of the Bali Branch of the Indonesian Veterinary Doctors Association (PDHI) were also present, the Chairperson Unud Veterinary Alumni Association, Head of the Bali Agricultural Quarantine Center, Head of the Denpasar Veterinary Center, Head of the Denpasar Agricultural Technology Study Center, Representative of the Head of the Denpasar Superior Livestock Breeding Center, representative of the Head of the Bali Provincial Agriculture Service, Head of the Animal Health Division of the Badung Agriculture and Food Service, Representative from PT. Charoen Pockpand, PT, Wonokoyo. The number of graduates who attended was: 15 veterinarian graduates, 3 graduates from the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine, and 1 graduate from the Master of Veterinary Medicine.




The event began with the reading of a prayer represented by I Wayan Sukernayasa which was then continued with a report from the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FVM, Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si.. Dr. Sudisma said that the number of judicial participants consisted of 1 person from the master's program, 15 people from the professional program, and 3 people from the undergraduate program. To date, the number of graduates from FVM Udayana is 2781 people. The highest GPA for the veterinary professional program is 3.65 and the lowest is 3.38 with an average of 3.53. Based on length of study, in the veterinary profession, 10 people (66.67%) graduated on time (3 semesters), 4 people (26.67%) graduated in 5 semesters and 1 person (6.66%) graduated in 7 semesters. The highest GPA for the undergraduate veterinary program is 3.94, the lowest GPA is 2.72 and the average GPA is 3.76. Based on the length of study for the veterinary medicine undergraduate program, it is 8 semesters for 2 people (66.67%), 22 semesters for 1 person (33.33%). The highest GPA for a veterinary master's program is 3.98, the lowest GPA is 3.89 and the average GPA is 3.94. Based on length of study, 2 people (50%) graduated on time (4 semesters), 1 person (25%) graduated 5 semesters, 1 person (25%) graduated 9 semesters.

The event continued with the inauguration and swearing-in of veterinarians by the Dean. When taking the oath, veterinarians are accompanied by clergy from each religion adhered to by the veterinarians who are sworn in, including clergy from Hinduism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestant Christianity. The reading of the Code of Ethics for the Veterinarian profession was carried out after the inauguration and swearing-in of veterinarians, which was read by the chairman of the Bali branch of PDHI (Prof. Dr. Drh. I Ketut Puja, M.kes). The event then continued with the submission of transcripts and graduation medals by the Dean, accompanied by the chairman of the senate, deputy deans and study program coordinators. The highest GPA in the Veterinary Medicine Masters Program was achieved by Drh. Deni Rahmadani, S.KH., M.Si, the highest GPA for the veterinary professional program was achieved by drh. Muhammad Execlyanto Widodo, S.KH., The highest GPA for the Veterinary Medicine undergraduate program was achieved by I Gusti Ngurah Putu Krisnu Mahaputra S,KH. The Dean of FVM Unud congratulated the graduation participants for being able to complete their education well. Prof. Suartha also conveyed a message to the judiciary participants and their families, namely "veterinarians to carry out their profession by adhering to the oath and code of ethics for veterinarians, and to immediately join the veterinary professional organization. For undergraduate veterinary medicine students who are adjudicated to continue to veterinary professional program, while for veterinary medicine master's graduates to return to carrying out their respective duties in their workplaces."



The event continued with remarks and messages from representatives of the drh judiciary participants. Muhammad Exceltyanto Widodo, S.KH. expressed his gratitude for the knowledge and experience that has been provided as well as the facilities in achieving all this to the FVM Unud academic community. Representatives of parents of graduates expressed their gratitude to Udayana University, especially FVM Unud, for guiding and educating our children patiently so that they can achieve graduation well. Veterinary graduates are expected to be able to implement their knowledge in society diligently and with full commitment.
