The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University Strengthens Laboratory Governance and Learning Support through Coordination Meetings
JIMBARAN, February 20, 2026 – The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University (FVM Unud) continues to enhance the quality of learning through strengthened coordination and improved laboratory governance. In order to emphasize this commitment, the Study Program Coordinator (Koprodi) S1 FVM Unud held a meeting with all laboratory assistants, located in the Humerus Room, 4th Floor, FVM Unud Dean's Building, Jimbaran Campus. The meeting served as a strategic forum to align perspectives and clarify roles and responsibilities, particularly regarding the preparation and implementation of Employee Performance Targets, the management and utilization of shared practicum rooms, and the execution of the main duties of the Head of Laboratory, actively supported by laboratory staff. Through this meeting, it is expected that work coordination will become more solid, effectiveness will increase, and laboratory services will operate optimally in supporting academic activities.
In line with this initiative, the Laboratory of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Veterinary Pharmacy also conducted a coordination meeting attended by course lecturers and lecturers responsible for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Study Program (DVMSP) Prescription (Reseptir) block. The meeting focused on strengthening academic synergy and improving laboratory governance. The agenda began with the introduction of the new Head of Laboratory, followed by an inventory of equipment and materials. This step was taken to ensure that all laboratory facilities are properly documented, considering that some equipment and materials are still located at the Sudirman Campus. In addition, plans were discussed to establish a bookkeeping system for equipment usage to enhance administrative orderliness and improve the efficiency of facility utilization.
The subsequent discussion addressed the implementation of academic activities within the DVMSP Prescription (Reseptir) program, including aligning perspectives on the learning process, identifying and resolving challenges faced by prescription clerkship students, and developing plans for curriculum enhancement. This discussion is expected to support the smooth implementation of learning activities while improving the quality of academic services within the laboratory environment.
Through this series of coordination meetings, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Udayana University reaffirmed its commitment to continuously strengthening its work system, enhancing the quality of laboratory services, and ensuring that the learning process runs effectively, systematically, and sustainably.
