The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Strengthens Coordination and Integrity Through JMT, The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Study Program Inspections, and Strengthening The SISTER System
Following up on the Letter of Appeal from the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud), the Administrative Coordinator (KTU) along with the Sub-Coordinators held a coordination activity "Jumat Minum Teh (JMT)" on February 13, 2026 in the Humerus Room, FVM Dean's Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The activity, which took place from 11:15–12:45 WITA, aimed to strengthen coordination, communication, and togetherness to create a conducive work environment.
In his directive, the Administrative Coordinator (KTU) emphasized that the JMT serves as a platform for reporting administrative service performance and a forum for discussing challenges in each sub-section to find joint solutions. He also stated that work discipline has improved following the job rotation at the end of January 2026. Going forward, the remuneration policy will consider performance, including attendance, activity, and output, as well as the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) based on the Dean's Performance Agreement with the Chancellor. The faculty will also form a team responsible for the 11 IKU’s and prepare a draft of their membership decrees.
the Administrative Coordinator (KTU) also emphasized the importance of implementing the Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) on an ongoing basis by optimizing student, alumni, and faculty participation through questionnaires to achieve optimal response rates. In managing correspondence, a tiered checking mechanism is implemented through the correspondence WhatsApp Group before assigning a letter number to minimize revisions and improve service efficiency.
The Student Affairs Sub-Coordinator expressed readiness to improve correspondence management with the support of new staff competent in IT, including in the development of student activity regulations. Coordination with the Student Executive Board (BEM) was also emphasized so that students would help maintain facilities and keep campus areas clean after activities.
From the planning sector, it was reported that the 2025 Performance Report (Lakin) draft is being prepared to be uploaded to the Silakin application before February 28, 2026, along with the revised Work Plan and Budget due to changes in the IKU. the Administrative Coordinator directed that data collection on performance achievements and SAKIP components (planning, measurement, reporting, and accountability) be carried out from the beginning of the year to ensure orderly and timely reporting.
Meanwhile, the General and Financial Sub-Coordinator presented the adaptation process to new duties, including staffing and proposed additions to the HR department. The leadership has assigned one person to assist when needed. Also discussed were improvements to building and public area cleanliness, parking enforcement by security guards, and initial preparations for collecting Employee Performance Targets (SKP) for lecturers and education staff at the beginning of each year to ensure they are ready when requested by the rectorate.
Commitment to the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI) is also a concern, including the division of tasks for ZI FVM 2026 Team and fulfillment of requirements such as 100% LHKPN reporting, ASN SPT documentation, and the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Perception Survey (SPAK) and the Service Quality Perception Survey (SPKP) with a minimum of 30 respondents per quarter.
In line with strengthening this integrity, The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Study Program (DVMSP) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, conducted unannounced inspections of classrooms to ensure the learning process was running orderly and up to standards. The inspections were conducted with students to foster closeness, a sense of ownership, and shared responsibility for maintaining learning facilities to ensure a clean, beautiful, and comfortable learning environment.
Meanwhile, the Master's Program also held a JMT activity at the Sudirman Campus in Denpasar, with the agenda of strengthening the SISTER system, led by the Master's Program Coordinator. The discussion was constructive, focusing on optimizing data management and improving academic performance.
Through this series of activities, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University affirms it’s commitment to building a work culture that is disciplined, accountable, and has integrity, while simultaneously encouraging the creation of increasingly quality academic services.
