STUDENT EXECUTIVE BOARD FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE UDAYANA UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATED IN THE XXV IMAKAHI NATIONAL MEETING
The Indonesian Veterinary Medicine Student Association (IMAKAHI) annually holds a National Conference (MUNAS) which this year is already in its 25th year. This activity was attended by all delegations from the faculty of veterinary medicine in Indonesia who are members of IMAKAHI. This year, MUNAS IMAKAHI will be held for 3 days and two nights in Jatinangor, more precisely at the Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University from 27 to 29 January 2023.
On Friday (27/01) the first day as well as the official opening of the XXV National National Conference was officially held at the Faculty of Medicine, Padjdjaran University which was attended by the Head of the Padjdjaran University Veterinary Medicine Study Program, Representatives of the Dean of the Padjdjaran University Medical Faculty, and PDHI Representatives. In the opening that was held he advised "I hope that the younger students here will not only be ordinary students but be students who like to discuss and criticize social issues and veterinary issues around us"
After the opening, the activities continued with changes and determination of the Rules of Procedure led by the temporary Presidium 1, Temporary Pesidium 2, and Temporary Presidium 3. Determination of the Rules of Conduct lasted for 12 hours starting from 9.30-21.30 WIB. In this agenda there was a good session dynamic, where each delegation expressed his opinion while upholding politeness even though occasionally lobbying had to be carried out due to strong arguments.
After the court order has been established, the trial agenda will continue with the establishment of a permanent persidium. The presidium is determined by applying for a permanent presidium and stating the reasons why they want to apply for a permanent presidium. This year there were 6 delegates from Airlangga University (UNAIR), Udayana University (UNUD), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and Syah Kula University (USK). After submitting the name, the determination of the presidium was carried out by way of deliberation and voting by each delegation. The results of the deliberations appointed the USK delegation as presidium 1, the UGM delegation as presidium 2, and the UNUD delegation as presidium 3.
Then, the activity continued on the second day (28/01) which was started by the presentation of the Accountability Report from PB IMAKAHI and BPI IMAKAHI with the addition of a question and answer session by session participants. The Accountability Report this year received a conditional acceptance decision. After the explanation of LPJ from PB and BPI IMAKAHI, the activity was continued with the presentation of the top LPJ program from each PC IMAKAHI, which later the best program would be chosen. This year, the holder of the best excellent program was won by Gadjah Mada University. The activity agenda was then followed by the reading and determination of the decrees of the PB and BPI IMAKAHI commissioners. Then the activity continued with the reading of the IMAKAHI Statutes (AD) by Presidium 1 and continued with the amendment and determination of the Bylaws (ART). However, due to time constraints, changes and determination of ART can only be made up to chapter III and the agenda will continue the next day.
Activities continued on the third day (29/01) with discussions and determination of ART starting from chapter IV onwards. In the changes and stipulations, there were major changes to the chapter discussing the IMAKAHI Supervisory Board (BPI) due to considerations of BPI's performance which were felt to be lacking by each IMAKAHI Branch Manager (PC) delegation. After the determination of the IMAKAHI ART, the activity was continued with a discussion and determination of the IMAKAHI Work Program Guidelines (GBHPK). Changes to the GBHPK itself are not too many and mostly only changes in writing and explanatory editorial.
After the discussion and determination of the GBHPK agenda, it was followed by a discussion of the SWOT work program carried out by PB IMAKAHI. This agenda adds and establishes two recommendation work programs for the next management of PB IMAKAHI. The activity was continued with the discussion of the Five Year Development Plan (Repelita). However, the decision of all delegations of the session considered that the use of this Repelita was not relevant for IMAKAHI due to the changing times that occurred and the election of a chairman every year, which made the Repelita officially abolished.
Furthermore, the agenda continued with the discussion of the membership law which this year was only read out because there were no new Draft Laws by BPI. Entering plenary 4 which contains the agenda for selecting the general chairman and secretary general of PB and BPI IMAKAHI. This election resulted in Nadia Tasya Rosalia (UNAIR) as General Chairperson of PB IMAKAHI and Dexa Ramadhani (UWKS) as Secretary General of PB IMAKAHI. BPI itself got Chabib Koirudin (UWKS) as general chairman and Galuh Paguita Puspahanin as deputy chairman. The election of the new PB and BPI leaders indicates that the XXV National Conference is over. It is hoped that the establishment of new regulations and leaders can make IMAKAHI even better.
