Strengthening Collaboration between Organizations, the FVM Unud Student Senate will hold Sangkep Activities in 2024

As the end of the first quarter of 2024 approaches, the Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, organizes the Sangkep 2024 event. Although rarely heard of because it was previously an internal program of the BEM, Sangkep is now open to external parties aimed at providing important information on secretarial guidelines and regulations for managing funds from the Student Senate of FVM Unud. This year, Sangkep 2024 was held offline in the Ruang Sidang Lantai 3, Gedung Dekanat FVM Unud, Kampus Jimbaran, on Sunday, March 24th, 2024. The event was attended by 52 participants consisting of core members, secretariat, and treasurers from the Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM), Dewan Perwakilan Mahasiswa (DPM), Lembaga Pers Mahasiswa Suara Satwa (LPM SS), and Badan Semi Otonom (BSO) at FVM Unud.

"Actually, there are many benefits to Sangkep, one of which is indeed reducing the number of revisions, as before, for the future," said Alvian Cahya Ramadhan, the Chairman of BEM FVM Unud, in his opening speech at Sangkep 2024. Continuing the opening ceremony, Nanda Oktafia, as the Secretary I of BEM FVM Unud, directly explained the secretarial material, which includes the duties of the secretary, the flow of correspondence, secretarial norms, and document archiving. Despite encountering some PowerPoint difficulties, Nanda's enthusiasm and the participants engagement were able to smoothly resume the event. The presentation was followed by a discussion and demonstration session with the participants. During the demonstration session, participants were tasked with creating Notification and Announcement Letters using their own laptops, which were then collected for review together. Some of the selected letters were from Veterinary Holic (Vetholic), Veterinary English Club (VEC), and the World Veterinary Day (WVD) committee, which had some minor errors. This indicates that Nanda's presentation was successfully received by the participants.

The activity initiated by the Human Resources Development Division (PSDM) of BEM FVM Unud not only featured one speaker, but two speakers. The second topic, "Tata Cara dan Regulasi Pengelolaan Dana" was presented by Aurora Nestina Tabeel, the Treasurer I of BEM FVM Unud. This topic was also met with enthusiasm from the participants, as evidenced by the questions asked during the discussion session that followed. One of the questions raised was about filling out the information on operational activity fund (POK) in the activity accountability report, which Aurora answered in detail. The demonstration session resumed with the assignment to create detailed payment requests (RPP) and a schedule of deliveries. However, this session took up quite a lot of time, so there was no joint checking due to time constraints.

According to Surya, the head organizer, Sangkep is a way to address the complaints received from several students regarding the revisions provided by the BEM FVM Unud, while also explaining the norms set by the secretary and treasurer for the smooth running of future activities.
