Sangkep 2026 as a Means of Strengthening Secretariat and Fund Management Competencies

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, the “Sangkep: Secretariat & Fund Management Training 2026” event was held by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Udayana) in the Biostatistics Room, 2nd Floor, FVM Udayana Dean's Office Building, Jimbaran. The event was attended by the Chair and Vice Chair of the FVM Udayana Student Executive Board (BEM), the Head of Human Resource Development of BEM FVM Udayana, and 33 participants representing the Secretaries and Treasurers of BEM FVM Udayana, the Student Representative Council, the Student Press Agency Suara Satwa, the Semi-Autonomous Professional Interest (Minpro) and Talent Interest (Minbat) of FVM Udayana.

This annual event by the PSDM Division of BEM FVM Udayana aims to train and provide understanding about secretarial work and fund management at FVM Udayana. Additionally, this event also aims to prepare participants to be able to carry out their duties and responsibilities, considering the many changes in the administrative procedures that have occurred at FVM Udayana.

The event began with the singing of the national anthem “Indonesia Raya” and the “Mars FVM Udayana” song. This was followed by a speech from the Chair of the Organizing Comittee, I Komang Edi Suyasa. In his speech, he expressed his hope that this event would serve as an effective learning tool for participants to deepen their understanding of secretarial work and financial management within the organization. The speech was followed by remarks from the Chair of BEM FVM Udayana, I Gede Eka Dista Parandika, who also officially opened the event. On this occasion, he expressed his hope that this event would be the first step for all participants to learn together. He also emphasized that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. “Hopefully, today is the first step for us to learn together. In the future, there may be mistakes, but the most important thing is not how big the problem is, but how big your desire is to continue learning,” he said.

Moving on to the main agenda, the first presentation session featured the First Secretary of BEM FVM Udayana for the 2026 period, Anak Agung Ayu Intan Reisthavi. In her presentation, she explained various things that need to be considered in carrying out duties as a secretary. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining communication between the secretary and the secretariat division in the flow of activity correspondence. In addition, she also explained the changes in the signature procedure for event letters. She explained that the signature of the Vice Dean I is only used on event letters addressed to external parties, such as invitation letters and sponsorship proposal cover letters. The first material presentation session ended with a discussion with the participants and was followed by a 75-minute demonstration session. In this session, participants were accompanied by fellow secretaries, namely Raisa Irene Susanto, Efrainne Sarah Manoppo, and Dwi Yuliandini Tiaratul Aini. Participants were given the opportunity to identify and correct errors in sample letters, then compose letters independently based on the material that had been presented previously.

After that, the event continued with the second presentation session by the Treasurer I of BEM FVM Udayana for the 2026 period, Hayagriva Dytyari. In her presentation, she explained the functions and roles of the treasurer in organizations and committees, such as managing cash inflows and outflows, preparing a Budget Plan, and preparing a Financial Accountability Report (LPJK). She also explained the use of Udayana Mall (U-Mall), starting from how to search for product links, submit a Procurement Planning Design (RPP) and Activity Fund Recap, place orders, and receive orders. In addition, she highlighted the importance of keeping transaction evidence such as notes, receipts, and proof of payment as part of the financial administration of activities. The presentation was then closed with a 75-minute discussion and demonstration session accompanied by fellow treasurers, namely Ni Nengah Indra Pradnya Darmayanti, Syamir Husain Bafadal, and Helena Samaria Br Sinulingga, where participants were again given the opportunity to practice preparing spiritual and consumption RPPs, as well as recapitulating activity financial reports.

The event concluded with a documentation session and the granting of a certificate of appreciation to the speaker. Overall, the event ran smoothly and was filled of enthusiasm. Although the room temperature was relatively warm, it did not diminish the participants’ enthusiasm during the event.
