Given that there are still many cases of rabies in the Klungkung area, Prof. Puja advised to pay attention to the prevention of bites, care, prevention, and treatment of rabies.
The next activity is counseling from drh. I Wayan Sukernayasa, SKH, M.Si as the supervising lecturer with discussions on biosecurity and how to provide good individual counseling and education, especially regarding rabies and its vaccines. There are still many animal owners who don't believe in animal treatments, therefore, we as students can provide an education that it's not because of the vaccine that kills the animal, but because there are animals whose disease is unknown and comes in contact with the owner's pets. Hopefully, this activity can provide the community in Klungkung with better education regarding the handling of animals affected by rabies and emphasize the provision of vaccines for livestock and pets.
