Organizational Management Training (DMO) 2026 SM-FKH Unud as a Bridge to Enhance Leadership Quality

The Organizational Management Training (DMO) of the Student Senate of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (SM-FKH Unud) is an annual agenda that serves as a platform for fostering cooperation within organizations and collaboration among senates within FKH Unud. It carries the overarching theme “In Unum Crescamus,” which means moving in one rhythm to create meaningful work together.

The first series of DMO, namely the First Gathering (Kumper), was held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, online via the Zoom Meeting platform. This agenda aimed to deliver information including the reading of the Participant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), assignments, and group division to support participants throughout the program.

The event continued on the main day which was held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Lecture Room 2, 3rd Floor, Dean’s Building, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Jimbaran Campus. This event was attended by the Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FKH Unud, the General Chair of the Student Representative Council (DPM) FKH Unud, the General Leader of the Student Press Institute (LPM) Suara Satwa FKH Unud, the event Supervisory Board, the Steering Committee of DMO 2026, as well as 56 participants consisting of 23 BEM members, 13 DPM members, and 20 LPM Suara Satwa members.

On this occasion, the event began with a report from the Chief Executive, Marcel Ananda Putra Cornelis. He stated that this event aims to build a sense of solidarity within the organizations and enhance collaboration in the future. The event continued with remarks from the Chair of BEM FKH Unud, I Gede Eka Dista Parandika, who expressed his hope that this DMO could become a good bonding event and strengthen relationships among senates. The General Chair of DPM, Khansa Zharifah, also delivered her remarks, emphasizing that although each senate has different goals, they are still directed toward the same common goal. Furthermore, the General Leader of LPM Suara Satwa, I Gusti Bagus Zetya Riadnyana, also expressed his hope that through this event participants could gain an understanding of how to work in an organization as one family and use it as a platform for self-development.

This event presented three distinguished speakers in the talk show session, namely the three former leaders of SM-FKH Unud from the 2025 period, Putu Surya Pratama as Chair of BEM FKH Unud, Amira Inas Wibowo as General Chair of DPM FKH Unud, and Mia Kosasih as General Leader of LPM Suara Satwa for the 2025 period. In this session, the speakers shared their experiences in organizational leadership and emphasized the importance of communicative teamwork both internally and externally, as well as understanding each member’s character. In addition, they highlighted that collaboration among senates can be well established despite having different main duties and functions. The talk show session concluded with a discussion session with participants and a certificate presentation to the speakers.

Unlike the previous year, this event featured a pan lead session where each group had been assigned during the first gathering to create an event concept plan. In this session, participants from each group explained the concept of their events, the administrative flow, and presented their job descriptions. This session aims to equip participants to carry out committee events in both internal and external scopes, as well as to serve as a bridge for practicing communication and coordination within a team.

In addition, DMO 2026 was also filled with an outbound session consisting of five stations. At each station, participants took part in several games such as magic stick, shape builder, hunter’s vision, suit battle track, and a break. Through these outbound activities, participants were expected to develop good teamwork.

In closing, the event ended with a post-test session, announcement of outbound winners, questionnaire completion, and documentation with participants. Overall, the event ran smoothly, as reflected in the participants’ enthusiasm during the discussion session.
