JMT FVM Unud Strengthens Coordination in Education, Student Affairs, and Governance
Denpasar, August 21, 2026 — The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud) once again held its regular Jumat Minum Teh (JMT) session as a forum for coordination and discussion to evaluate ongoing programs and address various faculty development agendas. The meeting covered a range of matters related to education, student affairs, planning, information systems, and institutional governance.
In the area of education, discussions focused on strengthening academic data management and coordinating the implementation of learning activities. The updating and validation of student data were among the key areas of attention to ensure that academic information is accurately organized and able to support the management of education at FVM Unud.
From the student affairs perspective, the forum discussed the implementation of student interest and talent development activities, as well as strengthening the administration and documentation of student achievements. Documentation of student accomplishments and recognition continues to be encouraged to ensure that achievements are properly recorded and integrated into the system. Regular evaluations are also part of the effort to ensure that student programs are implemented in accordance with established plans.
The discussion also covered the planning of programs and activities for the 2027 Fiscal Year. Information systems and the dissemination of information through FVM Unud's official website and social media platforms were also addressed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, in the area of general affairs and finance, coordination covered the maintenance of facilities at the Bukit Campus and Sudirman Campus, procurement of goods, and the management of various support services for faculty activities. These discussions formed part of the effort to ensure that operational needs and internal services continue to function effectively.
In addition to these agendas, JMT also served as a forum for monitoring preparations for the accreditation of the Master's Program in Veterinary Medicine. The evaluation focused on the fulfillment of accreditation criteria, document completeness, and the data and evidence required for the accreditation process. The coordination involved the study program, curriculum development team, UP3M, as well as administrative and data management personnel.
The outcomes of the discussions will serve as a basis for follow-up actions by the relevant units, including data updates, document refinement, and necessary program adjustments. In this way, the agendas discussed during JMT are not limited to coordination but are followed by concrete actions in accordance with the duties and responsibilities of each unit.
The regular implementation of JMT reflects FVM Unud's commitment to strengthening communication and coordination among units. The forum provides an opportunity to align various programs, identify needs, and evaluate ongoing activities so that they can be implemented in a more structured and integrated manner.
These efforts to strengthen coordination and evaluation are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, in supporting effective educational management and student competency development. Efforts to strengthen coordination, information systems, and institutional governance also contribute to SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, through the development of more structured, transparent, and adaptive governance.
