FVM Unud Aligns e-AMI Instrument Completion to Strengthen Quality Assurance

Denpasar, September 14, 2026 — The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM Unud) conducted a briefing on the procedures for completing the electronic Internal Quality Audit (e-AMI) instrument through SIM-Q, as well as a session to align the understanding of the AMI instrument between faculty leadership and auditees. The activity was held in the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor, Sudirman Campus.

The briefing on the e-AMI instrument completion procedures was delivered by the Quality Development and Assurance Unit (UP3M) together with Prof. Sadra. The activity also served as a forum to align understanding of the items included in the AMI instrument, particularly those related to documents at the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS) level.

The alignment of understanding involved the coordinators of the Undergraduate Veterinary Medicine, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Master's, and Doctoral programs. During the discussion, the study program coordinators were encouraged to further discuss with the faculty leadership several standards related to the UPPS, including facilities and infrastructure, research, community service, and cooperation. This was intended to ensure that the completion of the instruments across the four study programs was based on a consistent understanding of the applicable standards and required documents.

One of the discussions focused on the Learning Facilities and Infrastructure Standard. The items discussed included formal documents on university land ownership, land location, land slope, building area, and the availability of faculty offices.

In addition, the forum discussed the Research Funding and Financing Standard. The discussion also covered the Core Scientific and Cultural Standards, as well as the Suka Duka and Kehumahasan Standards.

The alignment of understanding formed part of the effort to strengthen a shared understanding of the AMI instrument completion process within FVM Unud. With a consistent understanding between the faculty leadership and auditees, the instruments can be completed based on the standards and documents that have been agreed upon.

This activity is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDGs 4: Quality Education. Strengthening internal audit and quality assurance processes supports the university's efforts to maintain the quality of educational delivery through structured and continuous evaluation.

Going forward, this alignment of understanding is expected to support a more consistent AMI instrument completion process across all study programs at FVM Unud. A shared understanding of the required standards and documents is also expected to strengthen the evaluation process and the continuous implementation of internal quality assurance.
