Broaden Aquatic Animal Knowledge through Minpro Turtle Guard Public Lecture II

Friday, December 2 2022, the Minat Profesi Aquatic Animals Turtle Guard held their routine operational plan namely Public Lecture. This time they held their 2nd Public Lecture this year that started at 16.00 WITA, online via Cisco Webex Meeting, attended by more than 100 students of the Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Public Lecture II took the theme "Freshwater Fish Diseases and Health Management" with the aim of adding insight to students of the Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine about aquatic animals, especially freshwater fish. Public Lecture II presented drh. Kenda Adhitya Nugraha as a speaker who is a member of the Dokter Hewan Indo Fish Vet.

In his delivery, drh. Kenda thoroughly explained freshwater fish from its characteristics, health management cycle, factors supporting health, common diseases, to treatment and care that can be carried out. One of the interesting facts from his material is that fish can get buoyancy disorder, which is a condition in which the fish's swim bladder is disrupted, such as the swim bladder is too big which makes the fish swim upside down. This Public Lecture II went smoothly, the participants were enthusiastic, actively asked questions and discussed the material presented by the speakers. Participants who asked the best question were given awards from the committee.

This event ran well because of the hard work of the committee in preparing the event. Honorable mentions for the sponsors who helped in funding this event, Turtle Conservation and Education Center, D.A.N Exotic, and Kedonganan Veterinary. Hopefully the Minat Profesi Turtle Guard can continue to hold activities that are no less exciting and useful for all students of the Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
