Approach for New Students, FVM UNUD Participated in The Udayana Expo 2026
On Friday, January 30, 2026, Udayana University held its annual event, the Udayana Expo 2026, with the theme Design Your Future , at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Udayana University Campus, Jimbaran. This event was held to introduce new student admission pathways, study programs, and academic and non-academic information to prospective students from various regions, including Bali and outside Bali. All faculties within Udayana University participated in this event, including the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FVM UNUD).
This event served as a strategic platform for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) at Udayana University to introduce the academic profile, educational facilities, and career prospects of Veterinary Medicine graduates to prospective students and the wider community. Through a booth, the Faculty displayed various information related to the veterinary education curriculum, learning support facilities, and the role of veterinarians in animal health, veterinary public health, and the livestock industry. Visitor enthusiasm was evident in the large number of high school students who visited the FVM UNUD booth to consult directly with lecturers and students.

The Vice Dean for Academic and Planning at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Drh. I Wayan Suardana, M.Sc., in his presentation stated that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine remains committed to improving the quality of education to produce competent and highly competitive veterinary graduates. According to him, the role of veterinarians today not only emphasizes mastery of clinical science, but also an understanding of veterinary public health, research, and community service.
Prof. Wayan Suardana also explained that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, continuously strengthens its curriculum and academic facilities to align with developments in veterinary science and technology. Furthermore, collaboration with various parties, both government and private institutions, continues to be developed to support the learning process and prepare graduates for the world of work. The Faculty’s participation in the 2026 Udayana Expo is also expected to provide prospective students with a more comprehensive picture of the strategic role of veterinarians amidst global challenges, including issues of animal health, food security, and animal welfare.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine affirms its commitment as a higher education institution that is oriented towards developing superior human resources and making a real contribution to society.
