A Resounding Celebration: 41st BKKH’s and FKH Unud's 27th Anniversary
Saturday, November 8, 2024, was a day full of happiness for the academic community of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FKH Unud) through the celebration of the 41st Badan Kekeluargaan Kedokteran Hewan (BKKH) and the 27th Anniversary (HUT) of FKH Unud.
The event, held at the Courtyard of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Dean Building, Udayana University, Jimbaran Campus, was attended by guests from various groups, including the Rector and Vice Rector I of Udayana University, the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Udayana University, Deans and Vice Deans from across Udayana University, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, as well as the Chair and Members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Sub-unit of FKH Unud. Additionally, the event was attended by the Head of the Denpasar Veterinary Center, the Head of the Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Office of Bali, the Head of the Superior Livestock and Forage Center (BPTU-HPT) Denpasar, the Head of the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Office of Bali, the Head of the Agriculture and Food Security Office of Bali Province, and all Heads of Agriculture Offices in Bali’s regencies. Also present were the Chair of the Ikayana Commission of FKH Unud, the Chair of the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI) Bali Branch, leaders from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, PT Sanbio, as well as the Chairpersons of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Student Senate (SM-FKH) and the entire academic community of FKH Unud, all contributing to the 41st celebration of the Veterinary Family Association (BKKH).
The celebration began with a joint exercise participated by all attendees, followed by a greening action involving the planting of 15 saplings by invited guests from the campus and deanery around the FKH Unud Dean's Building. The highlight of the event began with welcoming remarks from the guests and the cutting of a tumpeng by the Udayana University Rector as a symbol of unity. The event continued with the awarding of Love and Dedication, the announcement of Outstanding Student Awards, and the Civitas Award adding to the festive atmosphere.
No less interesting, the announcement of the winners of the doorprize consisting of attractive prizes such as electric bicycles, mobile phones, and smartwatches added excitement to the event. Various entertaining performances, including solo vocals, dance performances, and joget bumbung were also an integral part of the celebration which succeeded in inviting the enthusiasm of all attendees.
Still in the euphoria of the BKKH and FKH Unud Anniversary celebration, on November 9, 2024, the Magenta Festival (FESTMA) 2024 once again enlivened the campus atmosphere with various spectacular performances from FKH Unud's music and art groups, namely The Quintessence, Blue-band, The Magentaz, Teater Magenta, and Philharmonic. The climax of the event was filled by extraordinary guest stars from The Effortless, Nosstress, and Not So Koplo followed by the distribution of attractive door prizes and food tenants that pampered the visitors.
Presale tickets for FESTMA 2024 were priced at IDR25.000 for FKH Unud students and IDR45.000 for the general public. Visitors were then given wristbands as a sign of participation. Additionally, there was also an option to purchase On The Spot (OTS) tickets for IDR45.000 which was open to the public.
The merriment of the 41st BKKH celebration and the 27th FKH Unud Anniversary fostered unity among the academic community and served as a reunion for FKH Unud alumni. With the success of these two major events, the FKH Unud academic community demonstrated a spirit of togetherness and appreciation for the achievements that had been achieved. Congratulations on the 41st BKKH Celebration and the 27th FKH Unud Anniversary! Forever Glory to my FKH!
