72nd IVSA Symposium: Indonesia, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Receives Audience Visit

Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine received an audience visit from representatives of the 72nd International Veterinary Students' Association (IVSA) Symposium Organizing Committee on Thursday (2/2) at the First Floor Meeting Room of the Udayana University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Building, Sudirman Campus.

"We, from the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, fully support the holding of this event," remarks from the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. drh. I Wayan Sudira, M.Si, gave an opening statement during this audience visit.


 


The IVSA Symposium is an annual activity of the International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA). On this occasion, Indonesia has been chosen by the IVSA forum to host the event in 2024. This event plan to be held on January 18-26 2024 with the theme "Vets for Global One Health Security." Arfin Wiratama and Rizky Salsabila Heryanto, representatives of Ikatan Mahasiswa Kedokteran Hewan Indonesia (IMAKAHI) accompanied by the Chair of BEM FKH Unud, Alvin Limanto, conducted an audience with the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Udayana University regarding the possibility of collaborative assistance that could be provided by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Udayana University.




"I hope that later this event can have a good impact on the world of Veterinary Medicine, especially in Indonesia in particular," the hope expressed by Deputy Dean I Academic Field of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. drh. I Gusti Ngurah Sudisma, M.Si, pointed out that the purpose of this activity is to open up the development of the world of Veterinary Medicine in Indonesia, especially at the student level, so that they can excel on the international stage.
